DESCRIPTION:This three-day intensive course focusses on high-level negotiation skills\, international humanitarian systems and Australian Government agencies’ role in a deployment. \nCourse aim: develop team leaders in their role as overall mission leader of a deployment. \nCourse content includes: \n\nHumanitarian systems/international frameworks\nHigh-level negotiation/liaison Team operations and dynamics\nAUSMAT capability familiarisation Legal frameworks/clinical governance\nMedical operations and logistics in the field Environmental health assessment Needs assessment.  \n\nThis course is for: Senior medical and nursing clinicians\, Senior emergency services workers\, Senior medical defence force officers\, Senior environmental health officers nominated by each state/territory with previous AUSMAT training and deployment experience.   \nParticipant numbers: min 12 | max 24
